Borough Projects in Stone Harbor
Borough Council introduced two bond ordinances April 6, which together
would provide almost $15 million for capital projects in the borough.

Avalon Municipal Budget
The Avalon Borough Council unanimously approved the 2020 municipal
budget during its meeting on Wednesday, April 8th.

Stone Harbor Tax Rate Increases
Borough Council adopted an $18.4 million budget at its April 7 meeting.
The budget calls for $13.1 million in local property tax revenue. The
local purpose tax rate is increased from $0.25 to $0.267 per $100 of
assessed value.

Veterans Organizations Giving Back
Members of veteran organizations throughout Cape May County are working
to supply meals and services to those in need. They are working together
to ensure elderly veterans and shut-ins are being cared for and their
needs are met.

Avalon Reschedules Bulk Trash Pickup
Bulk trash collection was scheduled to occur starting May 11th but has
been postponed. Bulk trash may now be placed curbside for collection
from June 1st through June 14th, with collection beginning on June 15th.
These dates are again subject to change.
